MEETUP VENUE GUIDELINES

These guidelines define how meetup locations are selected and managed to ensure safety, neutrality, and clarity for all participants.
1. Venue Type (Mandatory)
Meetups are conducted only at neutral, public or semi-public venues. Examples include:
Cafés or coffee shops
Restaurants (quiet or reserved section)
Co-working spaces (meeting rooms)
Community halls or conference rooms
Hotel cafés or lounges (not hotel rooms)
Private residences, hotel rooms, or closed private spaces are not permitted.
2. Safety & Accessibility Requirements
Each venue must:
Be easily accessible to the public
Have staff present during the meetup
Offer a neutral and non-isolated environment
Allow participants to enter and exit freely at any time
Be suitable for respectful conversation
Venues with CCTV coverage or on-site staff are preferred.
3. Timing Guidelines
Meetups are scheduled during daytime or early evening hours
Late-night sessions are avoided
Time slots are communicated clearly in advance
4. Seating & Space Arrangement
Seating should be comfortable and non-intimate
Open or semi-open seating is preferred
No enclosed or locked rooms
Space should allow participants to maintain personal boundaries
5. Participant Conduct at Venues
Participants must respect venue rules and staff
Any disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in removal
Consumption of alcohol (if available at venue) is subject to local rules and personal responsibility
6. Platform Role at Venues
The platform coordinates the venue selection and timing only
The platform does not monitor private conversations
The platform does not supervise personal interactions
The platform’s responsibility is limited to coordination and introduction
7. Venue Changes or Cancellations
Venues may be changed due to availability or unforeseen circumstances
Participants will be informed in advance whenever possible
Changes do not guarantee refunds unless stated in the Refund Policy
8. Compliance & Legal Considerations
Venues are selected to comply with local laws and regulations
Any illegal activity at the venue is strictly prohibited
The platform reserves the right to deny participation if venue rules are violated
9. Updates to Venue Guidelines
These guidelines may be updated from time to time to improve safety, clarity, or operational standards. Continued participation implies acceptance of the updated guidelines.
